We’re seeking a Part-Time Senior Accountant (Remote) in Orlando FL to help us deliver financial scalability, growth & clarity to our clients.

Our financial services serve as the foundation, the financial bricks, upon which our entrepreneurial clients rely on, for financial and operational data to set and guide the growth trajectories of their startups and service businesses. And yea…we also balance the books and work crazy hours in March and April to feed the taxman.
We’re different from most accounting firms…much more than debits and credits on a virtual ledger, definitely not old-school. We use the most popular cloud-based accounting and tax systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, CCH ProSystem Tax) and have the flexibility to work remotely or in our midtown office. Much of our work has specific deliverables and deadlines so our focus is on results.

- What You’ll Do
- Own the Month-End Close: Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and ensure accuracy across all accounts.
- Prepare and Present Financial Statements: Deliver timely, accurate monthly financials and provide insights to management and clients.
- Drive Accountability: Follow up on deliverables, keep projects on track, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with management and clients, proactively managing expectations and raising issues early.
- Optimize and Automate: Use QBO, Excel, and other tools to simplify workflows and improve efficiency.
- Metrics & Reporting: Create and communicate monthly metrics that tell the financial story.
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage revenue recognition, AR, AP, payroll, and cash reconciliations.
- Who You Are
- Experienced: Skilled in month-end close, financial reporting, and full-cycle accounting.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong QBO Online experience and advanced Excel skills; open to learning new tools.
