Join our vibrant team at Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 as a Part-Time Teaching Assistant! We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven individual to support our teachers and students at Deer Path Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with classroom instruction, supervising students, and performing various duties assigned by the building administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with instructional strategies and materials for student use
- Work with individual students, small groups, or whole classes to provide instruction and support
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other activities
- Attend workshops and conferences as assigned by the building administrator
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building administrator
Requirements:
- Holds teacher or teacher aide certification in Illinois (or high school diploma)
- Good health as proven by physical examination
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
