Patent Attorney/Patent Agent – Mandarin Speaking

Position Overview:
An established Intellectual Property law firm is seeking an experienced Patent Attorney with a background in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Mandarin (both reading and writing) and have at least 4 years of experience as a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent. This position offers the flexibility of working the following locations: New York, Florida, Illinois, Virgina, Connecticut, Texas or California. If you are located by one of the offices (New York City, Los Angeles or Chicago), in person work may be required.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications for U.S. and international patents across various technologies.
- Provide expert client counseling on issues related to patentability.
- Communicate effectively with clients in both Mandarin and English.
- Maintain and grow client relationships with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support clients' business and technical goals.
Required Qualifications:
· Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
· Fluent in Mandarin, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language.
· 4+ years of experience as a Patent Attorney.
· A record of providing legal services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
