Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms, is seeking to hire a Patent Docket Specialist to join their Intellectual Property Patent Support Unit. The role involves coordinating and maintaining patent computerized docket systems and providing support to practice group lawyers and staff. Responsibilities Coordinating all areas of the CPI database such as: All information pertaining to each specific application and docket due dates, and remarks Incoming domestic and foreign client related communications Incoming Patent and Trademark Office communications filed in the Patent office Processing delivery of incoming electronic communications pursuant to departmental procedures Providing docket, status, and maintenance reports to patent personnel and lawyers Skills High school diploma and a minimum of one (1) year of docketing experience or equivalent knowledge of patent processes Proficiency in bolthires Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) Excellent written and oral communication skills and exceptional attention to detail Time-management and organizational skills to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work well under pressure in a collaborative team environment Flexibility to work overtime is preferred Benefits Medical coverage, with a variety of plans Health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts Domestic partner coverage Parental leave Vacation and holiday leave Life and accident insurance Income protection, including sick leave, salary continuation, and long term disability.
