Job Description

Quantum Health is an independent healthcare navigation organization headquartered in Central Ohio, dedicated to simplifying healthcare for its members. As a Patient Service Representative, you will assist members in navigating their healthcare journey by answering questions about benefits, claims, and provider options while advocating for necessary services and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

Resolve inquiries efficiently by handling inbound/outbound calls, in both English and Spanish, and addressing concerns in a timely manner
Show empathy and support to members during difficult healthcare situations
Provide clear guidance on healthcare plans, billing, and provider options
Advocate for members by coordinating with providers and insurers to remove barriers to care
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate and seamless service
Meet performance goals while continuously learning and developing expertise in healthcare navigation
All other duties as assigned

Skills

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent required
Spoken and written fluency in both English and Spanish
Passion for helping others and ensuring a positive experience for members
Ability to think critically, use available resources, and adapt to evolving challenges
Comfortable handling phone conversations and emails professionally and efficiently
Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently
A consistent, reliable presence with a commitment to meeting work schedule expectations and a commitment to working within Quantum Health's policies, values and ethics, and protect the sensitive data entrusted to us
Eagerness to learn, take on new challenges, and develop professionally within the healthcare industry
College coursework or degree is a plus
