- Key responsibility:
- Define the processes and procedures for all Pega platform testing including the development and maintenance of automated test plans, cases and scripts.
- Drive the automation of testing to enable the broader team to move quickly in development while ensuring the quality of the client application,
- Provide best practice expertise in software testing.
- Review required project work products to ensure compliance with approved procedures and standards.
- Perform detailed reviews of interim and final tasks as appropriate. Ensure process improvement opportunities are reviewed by appropriate stakeholders.
- Propose Pega design improvements and advocate for end users.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of IT experience and 5+ years' experience with creating and executing automated tests
- Proven ability to thoroughly understand specified standards, procedures and product specifications and design test plans based on this information.
- Demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the quality assurance review processes.
- Experience with PEGA Web Application Testing
- Experience with JAVA Web Application Testing
- Experience with SOAP and REST Web Service Testing
- User-driven mindset and strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Confident problem solver and solid communicator.
- Experience as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Sharp eye for detail, disciplined and organized.
- Resourceful, innovative and has demonstrated self-motivated work prioritization skills.
