Podcast Assembly and QC

Podcast Editor (Pro Tools) – Assembly, QC & Final Delivery

We’re hiring a podcast editor to finalise and QC pre-edited podcast episodes using Pro Tools.

You must:

• Be fluent in English

• Have strong Pro Tools experience

• Be confident with AAF files

• Work well with templates and structured workflows

• Edit quickly, follow instructions, and spot issues without being told

You’ll receive:

• Raw audio files

• A batch-edited episode (main content already rough cut)

• A Pro Tools session template

• VO tracks for intro and outro

• Music tracks

• A structure and layout guide

Your tasks:

1. Import & Setup

• Import AAF or audio files into the Pro Tools template

• Organise the session using the guide

2. Intro & Outro Edit

• Build the intro from raw VO and music

• Cut a short teaser from the main episode (max 10 seconds)

• Edit the outro and insert the correct song title from the VO

3. QC & Fixes

• Listen through the full batch edit

• Clean up any rough or incorrect edits

• Remove filler, silences, repeats, or “off record” remarks

• Ensure the episode flows smoothly and sounds polished

4. Export & Deliver

• Bounce a final MP3 using the required export settings

• Deliver both the MP3 and the full Pro Tools session file

Time:

• Each episode should take under 1 hour

• This can lead to regular, ongoing editing work
