Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and drivenPower BI Developerto oversee the design, administration, and delivery of enterprise-scale business intelligence solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI solutions across the organization
- Administer and manage Power BI Cloud ServicesandPower BI Report Serverenvironments
- Serve as the technical authority for Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Oversee governance, data access, and compliance policies within Power BI and Fabric environments
- Provide leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts
- Facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, IT, and business stakeholders
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies
- Drive adoption of best practices, standards, and emerging BI technologies
- Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting Power BI, including Power BI Cloud Services and Power BI Report Server
- 5+ years of experience as a Power BI / Microsoft Fabric administrator
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Entra (Azure AD)
- Microsoft Fabric certifications, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
Compensation:
The salary is budgeted at $100,000-$120,000 annually, plus benefits. ThunderYard offers benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k matching, PTO, certification reimbursement and more.
Vetting:
Candidates selected will be subject to a background investigation for clearance eligibility by our government client.
