Job Description: • Our Federal Services Group is seeking a Mid/
Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join the team. • This dynamic role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and analysis of critical power plant systems, enhancing both existing and new facilities. • You will apply cutting-edge engineering principles to deliver innovative solutions, collaborate across teams, and make a direct impact on the future of the power industry. • Services range from full-scale design of new or replacement facilities to life cycle management to maximize their useful life and availability to assisting with the decommissioning of facilities that have reached the end of their useful life.
• A day in this role involves designing equipment mounts, foundations, and pipe supports while applying your technical expertise to solve real-world challenges. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university • Professional Engineering License • Minimum 10 years’ with power system design experience • Experience working on DOE federal projects • Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired • Knowledge of discipline specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software • Proficient in Word and Excel • Familiar with the International Building code and building code design • Good writing, presentation, and communication skills • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams • Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches • Must be a U.S.
