Role Overview
As a Principal Consultant or Solution Architect for S/4 HANA Solutions at Argano, you will play a crucial role in delivering SAP S/4 solutions. You will be responsible for guiding our clients through their SAP S/4 transformation journey, ensuring the alignment of SAP solutions with their business objectives, and establishing Argano as the partner of choice for SAP digital transformations. The initial project will involve a mastery of finance process knowledge, specifically pertaining to Revenue Recognition, Controlling, Productivity Analysis, Auditing/SOX compliance, and integration with standard SAP Project System as it pertains Customer Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Solution Development
- Develop and implement strategic SAP S/4 solutions tailored to meet client needs across various modules with expertise in Finance (FICO) and Project Systems (PS) specifically revenue recognition and ASC 606.
- Analyze business processes and requirements to recommend appropriate SAP S/4 functionalities that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Client Engagement and Advisory
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor in SAP S/4 capabilities and Revenue Recognition best practices as they pertain to key processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Record-to-Report.
- Effectively communicate with senior-level client Finance stakeholders and act as a translator between functional & technical teams.
- Strong and deep knowledge of End-to-End Business Processes.
- Project Leadership and Management
- Lead SAP S/4 Finance implementation projects, managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve project objectives.

- Risk Management and Quality Assurance
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the smooth execution of SAP S/4 projects.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables meets Argano’s high standards and client expectations.
- Change Management and Training
- Guide clients through change management processes associated with SAP S/4 implementation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance client understanding and adoption of SAP S/4 functionalities.
- Thought Leadership and Innovation
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP S/4 developments, trends, and best practices to maintain Argano’s leadership in SAP solutions.
- Share insights and best practices with clients and internal teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in SAP consulting, with a proven track record of successful SAP S/4 implementations across multiple core modules.
- Certifications: SAP S/4 certification(s) in relevant module(s) highly valued.
- Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4 Finance (FICO) as it pertains to manufacturing & plant finance.
- Broad and deep understanding of Revenue Recognition and the ability to map end-to-end processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce & Record-to-Report.
- Understanding of ASC Rules, specifically ASC 606.
- Exceptional client engagement and communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and translator among senior-level client Finance stakeholders by bridging functional & technical teams.
- Experience with Account-Based CO-PA as it pertains to profit centers, chart of accounts, relations with production costs and inventory movements.
- SOX & audit controls compliance process knowledge.
- Hands-on experience integrating FICO with Project System (PS) Customer Projects.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, capable of leading complex SAP implementation projects.
- Proficient in risk management, quality assurance, and change management processes.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest SAP S/4 developments.
- Ability to present End to End Business Processes.
- Travel
- Up to 80% to client sites.
