Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together. The Event Data Analyst is responsible for the comprehensive investigation of workplace incidents and data events using a systematic approach. This role focuses on identifying impacted data and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including management, peers, and legal, to ensure thorough data collection, objective analysis, and effective communication of findings. This role will work as part of the security team to build an investigative data platform.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Responsibilities • Participate in incident investigations following a data event • Secure and document incidents promptly to preserve digital evidence and prevent contamination or loss of critical information • Collect and analyze diverse forms of data • Present investigation results to management and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding • Create streamlined solutions to ingest, aggregate, deduplicate, and report on relevant data elements • Be proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Work comfortably under time-sensitive conditions while ensuring thoroughness • Maintain high ethical standards and the ability to remain objective and confidential Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Mining, or Data Scientist role • 5+ years of writing and deploying production Python code in a professional environment • 3+ years of experience with DevOps and bolthires/CD tools such as GitHub actions, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as plotly, seaborn, Chart.js • 3+ years of experience in PySpark and Databricks • AI/ML experience building classification and fingerprinting files • Experience with medallion schemas and data lake management • Proficiency with unstructured data sets Nice-to-haves • Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics • Experience delivering reports and analytics in a cyber security organization • Experience leveraging and deploying Generative AI use cases to production environment • Experience with entity resolution or MDM technologies • Experience with medallion schemas and data lake management • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or bolthires Cloud • Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms • Understanding of data lake architectures Benefits • comprehensive benefits package • incentive and recognition programs • equity stock purchase • 401k contribution Apply tot his job
