- Lexington Health is seeking a Professional Medical Coder II to work in a remote position in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of professional coding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and active AAPC or AHIMA coding credential.Requirements
- Prior emergency department experience
- 3 years of professional coding experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active AAPC or AHIMA coding credential
- Experience with CPT, ICD diagnosis coding
- Experience with CCI edits
- Experience with Medicare LCDs and NCDs
- Understanding of state and federal regulations as well as payor billing requirements
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft applications
- Experience with electronic health records software
