About the position
- Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of program delivery, including student learning outcomes, logistics, budgets, record-keeping, and assessment.
- Collaborate with student leadership to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
- Implement assessment plans and report on program outcomes in collaboration with the Associate Director.
- Train, monitor, and assess risk management concerns related to travel, minors, and community engagement.
- Recruit, hire, orient, and advise Dartmouth student leaders and program participants.
- Design and deliver workshops and co-curricular seminars that integrate curricular and experiential learning.
- Facilitate individual and group reflection opportunities to deepen student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Cultivate relationships with students, campus and community partners, staff, and faculty to support program initiatives.
- Create program materials for recruitment and contribute to the Center's communications.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of work experience.
- Celebration of and commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social impact work including nonprofits, educational access, or K-12 education.
- Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate relationships with different stakeholders (students, community partners, staff, etc.).
- Ability to educate about and enforce healthy boundaries when working with minors.
- Experience with event or trip coordination and project management.
- Proficient with computer applications (Word, Excel, Database Management, etc.).

- Exceptional teaching and facilitation skills and the ability to excite, inspire, engage and manage undergraduate students and student groups.
- Knowledge of community-driven experiential learning and the best practices therein.
- Strong self-awareness, interpersonal and collaborative abilities; demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with experience communicating across multiple stakeholder groups (faculty, community partners, students, parents, administrators, etc.).
