About the position Join Kroll's Global Investigation Diligence & Compliance Team and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Investigation Diligence & Compliance. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to contribute as new joiners here at Kroll. Through a combination of expertise, global research capabilities and flexible technology tools, the Investigation, Diligence & Compliance practice of Kroll helps clients take a risk-based approach toward meeting obligations or remediating failures regarding anti-bribery, anti-corruption and related regulatory mandates. This position will be particularly focused on developing your open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media investigations skills – the building blocks of modern investigations – as well as routine administrative tasks. Responsibilities β€’ Conduct increasingly complex English-language research using public record databases, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources and the Internet. β€’ Perform, using OSINT techniques, detailed reviews of subjects’ digital footprints, with a focus on social media content. β€’ Conduct social media analysis within an agreed framework of reputational causes of concern. β€’ Assist with analyzing and synthesizing relevant research findings. β€’ Write well-structured, concise, logical, and objective reports to provide real Kroll clients with an accurate assessment of the findings. β€’ Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables. β€’ Maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports, meeting notes, and action items. β€’ Help prepare presentations, summaries, and project updates for internal and external stakeholders. β€’ Handle routine communications with team members and client representatives. β€’ Support compliance with internal processes, templates, and quality standards. β€’ Perform initial quality checks on deliverables (formatting, completeness, consistency). β€’ Monitor project risks and flag issues to the project management team. β€’ Support the execution of additional tasks as assigned by the project management team. Requirements β€’ Availability to work roughly 40 hours (or more) per week, during normal business hours (EST); β€’ Undergraduate degree; β€’ Major GPA of at least 3.5; β€’ Native or equivalent English language proficiency in reading comprehension; β€’ Extremely strong English-language writing skills; β€’ Ability to prioritize several projects and assignments on multiple topics while meeting tight deadlines; β€’ Ability to conduct online research using various primary and secondary sources; β€’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; and β€’ Ability to understand, accept and apply constructive feedback.
