Lands Downunder is a heritage textile brand known for beautifully woven throws designed to bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of home into everyday spaces. They are looking for a part-time content creator to help build a consistent, high-quality content engine focused on creating visually compelling photo and video content that reflects the feeling of 'home.'
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content in our showroom (Port Jefferson, NY) and occasionally on location
- Create lifestyle-driven content that feels natural, elevated, and emotionally engaging
- Shoot short-form video (Reels, TikTok) that highlights product in real-life settings
- Edit content for social media (video + photo)
- Organize content into a structured, usable library
- Assist with light scheduling/posting
- Assist with community engagement
Skills
- Strong eye for visual storytelling (home/lifestyle experience preferred)
- Experience shooting and editing short-form video
- Ability to create content that feels natural and lived-in—not overly staged or trend-driven
- Comfortable working independently while taking creative direction
- Local to Long Island or able to travel to Port Jefferson periodically
