Job Description
I am a UK-based author preparing a novel for publication on 23rd May and require a reliable publishing assistant to manage the final stages.
This is NOT a full edit — I already have editorial feedback and ARC reader notes. I need someone to implement these changes cleanly and consistently.
Scope of work:
Manuscript updates
Apply tracked edits and feedback to final manuscript
Maintain tone and consistency (no rewriting unless instructed)
Formatting
Prepare final files for:
Kindle (KDP ebook)
Paperback (KDP print)
Ensure professional formatting throughout
Publishing management
Update and/or upload book files to:
Amazon KDP
Draft2Digital
Replace covers (I will provide files)
Metadata & listings
Update book description, keywords, categories and author info (guidance provided)
General coordination
Keep everything on track for a 23rd May publication date
Ideal candidate:
Experienced with KDP and Draft2Digital
Strong attention to detail
Experience working with authors preferred
Able to follow direction and communicate clearly
This is a guided role — I will provide all materials and direction.
