Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester with experience in both automation and manual testing to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes and methodologies, as well as hands-on experience with testing tools and techniques.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Perform manual testing to identify, document, and track bugs and defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing.
- Ensure the quality and functionality of software applications before release.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing strategies and best practices.
- Identify areas for test automation and improve existing test automation scripts.
- Report and communicate test results and progress to the team.
- Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
