ONLY 1099 JOB TITLE: QA AUTOMATION JOB DURATION: 1 YEAR JOB LOCATION: COLUMBUS, OH (REMOTE) EXPERIENCE: 10+ YEARS VISA: , -EAD - 1099 Job Description β€’ You will architect and implement our enterprise test automation strategy with a primary focus on building a comprehensive Katalon Studio E2E testing framework from the ground up. β€’ This role involves designing test automation architecture for healthcare applications, establishing CI/CD integration patterns in Azure DevOps, and ensuring data quality across our patient portal and clinical systems. β€’ You'll spend approximately 60% of your time developing the Katalon framework, including test case design, execution strategies, and reporting infrastructure, while dedicating 40% to supporting roadmap project testing, including API validation, integration testing, and regression suite maintenance. β€’ You will work directly with development teams to establish testing standards, review code quality, and mentor team members on automation best practices. β€’ This position requires hands-on technical leadership to transform our testing capabilities and establish scalable patterns for future projects. β€’ You'll need to navigate ambiguous requirements, proactively identify and communicate blockers, and bring innovative testing solutions to the team. Skills Required: β€’ 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in enterprise software environments β€’ Expert-level proficiency with Katalon Studio for E2E test automation (must demonstrate experience in architecting and building Katalon frameworks) β€’ Strong C# experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest) β€’ TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency for JEST test development and maintenance β€’ API testing experience using RestSharp, Postman, or similar tools β€’ Proven experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines β€’ Solid understanding of test framework architecture, design patterns, and best practices β€’ Experience with data quality validation and test data management strategies β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders β€’ Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements β€’ Proactive problem-solver who identifies blockers early and escalates appropriately β€’ Collaborative team player who brings innovative ideas and testing strategies Preferred: β€’ Healthcare or clinical application testing experience β€’ Azure cloud services familiarity β€’ Agile/Scrum methodology experience β€’ Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Databricks for test data setup and validation Apply tot his job
