Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Remote (Canada)
Duration: Contract
Mandatory Skills : Automation, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD
- Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and Automation background is must, get SDET with Java and Selenium
- Cards functional knowledge is important.
- Need to understand UAT test cases, execute them manually and then automate.
- Create readable, maintainable, and reusable test scripts aligned with acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA automation engineers.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to identify test scenarios early in the development cycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and raise relevant defects with sufficient documentation.
- Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and automation progress.
- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement in automation processes.
