- *About the Role** This opportunity is for a Quality Assurance Tester who helps ensure high-quality software releases across the full SDLC. The role focuses on executing test plans, validating new and existing features, documenting results, and partnering with stakeholders to support release readiness. You will test from a user’s perspective, translate acceptance criteria into practical test cases, and help prevent critical defects to support a reliable end-user experience. • *What You’ll Do • Partner with QA leadership to deliver testing initiatives on schedule while maintaining high release quality • Execute test plans, test cases, and story acceptance criteria for new and existing features • Apply QA best practices for test execution, defect reporting, and documentation of test results • Test from a user perspective and convert requirements and acceptance criteria into clear, maintainable test cases • Identify and surface cross-functional impacts, downstream risks, and unintended effects tied to development changes • Represent the QA perspective in planning and refinement discussions by asking clarifying questions and supporting risk assessment and estimation • Communicate release readiness, risks, and issues to stakeholders to support smooth, predictable releases • Support quality goals and team KPIs by contributing to QA processes, procedures, and continuous improvement • *Qualifications • 1-5+ years of quality assurance experience, ideally in a SaaS environment and/or financial services/fintech (preferred) • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Agile testing practices (preferred, not required) • Ability to follow and execute against test plans, document results, and manage defects through resolution • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail • Self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities • Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and agile testing methodologies • Team-oriented approach, including the ability to handle conflict, negotiate, and provide clear feedback while driving quality outcomes • *Compensation • *Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
