QA Tester
Remote – Must reside in Texas
2–3 Month Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Security Requirement: CJIS Fingerprinting Required
Position Overview
Seeking a QA Tester to support the Kubepro Case Management System project. This role will focus on manual application testing, identifying defects, and ensuring system functionality meets project requirements before deployment.
The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and experienced in testing applications to identify issues and improve system performance.
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of the Kubepro case management system.
- Review application functionality and identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Document and track bugs using Azure DevOps.
- Execute test cases and record results in Excel workbooks.
- Collaborate with developers and project team members to resolve issues.
- Validate fixes and conduct regression testing when needed.
- Provide clear documentation of testing results and recommendations.
- Required Qualifications
- Mid–Senior level QA experience
- Strong experience with manual software testing.
- Ability to thoroughly review applications and identify defects.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience documenting and tracking defects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must reside in Texas.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
- Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation.
- Experience with DevOps environments.
- Exposure to Playwright or other testing automation tools.
- Experience testing case management, CRM, or public safety systems.
- Work Environment
- Fully remote position.
- Candidates may use their own equipment if not local to Austin, TX
