Paula’s Choice Skincare is a global skincare leader founded in 1995, dedicated to empowering individuals through science-backed products. The Quality Control Coordinator will support quality control objectives, work with internal teams and external partners, and resolve quality issues to ensure high standards are met. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of Value Added Services (VAS) work and review all components for accuracy and functionality to ensuring that only high-quality products proceed through the supply chain Review and disposition bulk and finished goods ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements Oversee quality inspections and documentation review for bolthires orders to maintain marketplace compliance and meet strict retailer standards Review and inspect samples to validate product quality before mass production, minimizing the risk of widespread defects Process and manage retention samples ensuring that goods are available for future quality investigations or regulatory inquiries Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers and contract manufacturers in order to resolve quality concerns promptly and maintain strong business relationships Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager Skills Associate degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field or equivalent Quality Control experience Extremely detail oriented and self-motivated Previous inspection experience Strong independent worker Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in bolthires Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field Basic laboratory skills or general science knowledge Previous experience with Good Manufacturing Practices Experience with SmartSheets Benefits Generous paid time off, including time off to volunteer Learning and development resources to support personal and professional growth Wellness benefits like meditation app memberships, product discounts, and free samples of our amazing products Most roles are fully remote (roles that are required to be at our Seattle HQ can be found in the details section of this job post) Great location – for roles that are hybrid or fully onsite, we’re in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District Did we mention we’re a dog-friendly office?
