Job Title: Real Estate Disposition Specialist Location: Remote with Nationwide Travel Status Type: Full-Time Contractor Reports to: Loan Servicing & Special Workout Manager Compensation: Based on experience + travel reimbursement Website: www.trophypointlending.com Position Overview: Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Real Estate Disposition Specialist to join our private lending team. This remote position plays a critical role in maximizing the value of distressed loans and REO assets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep real estate expertise and a strong ability to negotiate, assess property value, and drive profit-driven disposition strategies. This is a boots-on-the-ground role requiring construction/rehab knowledge, real estate evaluation experience, vendor relationship skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and cost control in property turnaround. Key Responsibilities: Maximize Loan Recovery β’ Drive optimal value from distressed loan assets through effective property disposition strategies. Property Evaluation β’ Determine property value in current condition and also determine after repair value. β’ Physically visit newly acquired or defaulted properties. β’ Conduct detailed walk-throughs and document structural integrity, safety, damage, and repair needs. β’ Capture detailed photos and videos of interior/exterior. β’ Prepare and submit property condition reports within 48 hours of visit. β’ Work collaboratively with borrowers and tenants during the resolution or transition process. Repair & Renovation Coordination. β’ Identify, vet, and secure competitive quotes from licensed local contractors for repairs or renovations. β’ Evaluate contractor bids for scope, cost, and timeline. β’ Determine the most profitable exit strategy (sale vs. lease). β’ Oversee contractor progress (if repairs are approved) and confirm completion meets quality and compliance standards. Disposition Execution β’ Coordinate property cleanup, staging (if needed), and readiness for market. β’ Coordinate the sale, lease-up, or long-term hold strategy of properties, ensuring financial performance and compliance. β’ Oversee all financial aspects of lender-owned properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. β’ Build and manage a strong network of local real estate agents, wholesalers, and investors to generate qualified buyers and accelerate sales timelines. β’ Lead negotiations with stakeholders including buyers, borrowers, vendors, and tenants to drive favorable outcomes. Reporting & Communication β’ Maintain property files and status updates using company tools and CRM. β’ Communicate with the Loan Servicing & Special Workout Manager on timelines, issues, and cost deviations. β’ Attend virtual team meetings to align on strategy. Qualifications: β’ 3+ years of field experience in real estate, property rehab, or construction/project management. β’ Strong knowledge of residential construction and property valuation. β’ Ability to travel frequently and work independently with limited supervision. β’ Excellent communication and organisational skills. β’ Tech-savvy (ability to upload reports/photos, work in Google Suite or similar tools). β’ Reliable transportation and valid driverβs license. β’ Licensed home inspector or prior real estate experience is a plus.
