- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring their best interests are represented, with up to 50% of time spent meeting with clients via Zoom
- Create and deliver tailored tax plans to clients, and update those plans periodically
- Maintain strong client relationships by managing their expectations
- Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Coordinate the client’s tax preparation needs with the tax preparation team and assist with client communication during tax season
- Requirements:
- CPA or EA Certification (CPA Preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Tax from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5-7 years of real estate and small business tax compliance and/or planning experience
- Experience working directly with clients
- Experience performing tax projections and estimates using professional tax planning software (e.g., BNA Tax Planner, CCH Prosystem fx Planning, etc.)
- Effective written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
