This is a single placement search.

We are looking for a recruiter who can find one exceptional YouTube channel operator who has already grown serious health or medical YouTube channels.

We have already tested job boards and standard hiring methods. The right candidate is unlikely to be browsing listings. Finding them requires a recruiter who understands the YouTube creator ecosystem and digital marketing talent landscape.

The Role You Will Be Filling

We are hiring a YouTube Channel Growth Operator.

This is not a consulting or advisory role.

We are looking for someone who has personally operated and grown YouTube channels and understands the mechanics of what actually drives views, retention, and subscriber growth.

The channel focuses on health and patient-focused content.

Not lifestyle.

Not general entertainment.

Health, medical, or patient education content.

The right person will be able to show clear before-and-after channel growth metrics from channels they have directly managed.

What This Person Will Actually Do

We provide the scripts and recorded videos.

This role owns everything required to turn those assets into a high-performing channel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Thumbnail and title optimization
  • CTR and retention analysis
  • Packaging videos for maximum reach
  • Publishing and channel management
  • Performance analysis using YouTube analytics
  • Iterating on thumbnails, titles, and positioning based on data

This person owns the channel’s growth and performance.

They execute. They do not simply advise.

What We Need From You

We are looking for a recruiter who can find people who already operate YouTube channels successfully.

You should be able to:

  • Source candidates outside traditional job boards
  • Identify people who have actually run and grown YouTube channels
  • Evaluate channel performance and separate real growth from vanity metrics
  • Deliver a shortlist of 3–5 truly qualified candidates

We do not want volume.

We want a small number of genuinely strong operators.

Candidate Profile

The person you find should ideally have:

  • Experience personally managing and growing YouTube channels
  • Demonstrated improvements in CTR, retention, and channel growth
  • Clear before-and-after channel performance examples

Titles may vary. They might be called:

  • YouTube Growth Lead
  • Channel Manager
  • Audience Growth Lead

  • YouTube Channel Operator

The key requirement is execution experience running channels, not consulting.

Compensation

This is an hourly recruiting engagement.

You may set your own hourly rate. Most strong recruiters on Upwork tend to fall in the $60–$100/hour range, but we are open to working with the right person.

The goal is efficient sourcing and screening, not unlimited hours.

Typical scope will likely be 10–25 hours to identify and screen qualified candidates.
