Job Summary

We are seeking a certified RedBox Rx Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our RedBox Rx department, you will be responsible for processing prescription orders, assisting customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries, and performing data entry tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate pharmacy technician to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities


  • Process prescription orders from RedBox Rx providers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

  • Assist customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries via phone and email

  • Create new patient profiles and perform prescription data entry

  • Work collaboratively with co-workers to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies

  • Perform other related job duties and special projects as required

  • Handle inquiries that do not require a pharmacist's expertise and judgment

  • Assist in adherence to quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance

Secondary Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and prescription information

  • Communicate effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals

  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices

  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Certification as a licensed pharmacy technician through a national program (e.g., PTCB)

  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk preferred

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and pharmacology

Skills and Competencies


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction

  • Must be able to physically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly

  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, reaching, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
