RD Nutrition Consultants is
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team, providing 100% remote outpatient telehealth services with a primary focus on weight management and lifestyle counseling. This is a flexible, part-time position (16-24 hours per week), perfect for an experienced dietitian looking to balance clinical work with other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Β Deliver individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) with an emphasis on weight management.
Β Conduct virtual consultations to assess clients' nutritional needs and develop tailored nutrition care plans.
Β Educate clients on effective strategies for sustainable weight management, behavior modification, and lifestyle enhancement.
Β Monitor client progress and adapt care plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Β Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive client care
Β Maintain accurate and current client records utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Qualifications:
Β Credential: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) required.
Β Licensure: Current licensure in your state of residence, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses for telehealth if needed.
Β Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an outpatient or weight management setting.
Β Knowledge: Strong understanding of evidence-based nutrition interventions for weight management.
Β Skills: Excellent communication and counseling abilities to engage clients effectively in a virtual environment.
Β Tech-savvy: Proficient in utilizing technology for telehealth consultations (video conferencing platform, EHR systems, etc.).
Preferred Experience:
Β Experience in telehealth or virtual patient management.
Β Specialized certifications in weight management, behavior change, or related fields.
Β Familiarity with motivational interviewing and other behavior change techniques.
Schedule:
Β Part-time: 16-24 hours per week.
Β Flexible scheduling options available during weekdays (Monday-Friday).
Β Potential for additional hours based on availability and client needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Β Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials.
Β State License Reimbursements: For any required licenses not already held by the RDN.
