ROLE: Oracle Release Manager as an RM Team Member, you will support the release and deployment of applications across multiple environments using
- CI/CD tools and practices.
- Working under the guidance of the RM Team Lead,
- you will collaborate with development, testing, and project teams to ensure efficient and error-free deployments on OCI.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building, packaging, and deploying software using Jenkins and Maven.
- Execute release activities based on established processes and schedules.
- Work with GitLab for source control and CI pipeline operations.
- Coordinate with developers and testers to validate builds and deployments.
- Ability to access and deploy individual pieces of code outside of a standard release.
- Help maintain deployment documentation and logs.
- Identify and escalate deployment issues and either resolve or assist in their resolution.
- Follow CI/CD practices and contribute to process improvements where applicable.
- Support testing and troubleshooting in OCI-hosted environments.
- Strong communication skills, within the RM team and with OCS and occasionally with customer representatives
- Ability to work Pacific hours (8:00-5:00 PT) Client based out of CA. Should work during Pacific Time No exemptions.
