Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Samaritan Health Services is a healthcare organization seeking an Account Analyst I to analyze Physician and Facility accounts. The role involves identifying problem accounts for resolution and training for higher-level Account Analyst positions while learning company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately and productively analyzing Physician and Facility accounts under the guidance of higher level Account Analysts
- Identifies and forwards problem accounts for the purpose of resolution
- Trains for higher level Account Analyst roles while learning SHS policies and procedures
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year collections, finance/accounting or medical billing experience required
- College preferred
- One (1) year medical business office experience preferred
- Experience or training in the following preferred: EPIC Software
- Experience or training in the following preferred: ICD-9 or CPT
- Experience or training in the following preferred: Medical Terminology
