The role involves driving new business growth across compliance-oriented SaaS companies and requires a consultative seller skilled in navigating complex decision-making cycles. Responsibilities β€’ Identify and convert new logo opportunities across regulated industries (financial services, logistics, retail, manufacturing, government contractors, etc.) β€’ Build prospecting sequences targeting compliance officers, operational leaders, and risk managers β€’ Use domain insight to articulate pain around governance, audit trails, policy compliance, and system-of-record accuracy β€’ Manage qualification, discovery, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiation β€’ Deliver compelling demos that emphasize workflow automation, compliance controls, and ROI β€’ Run deep discovery to quantify risk exposure, process inefficiencies, and audit burdens β€’ Align solutions to regulatory frameworks (SOC, ISO, SOX, GRC, internal audit mandates) β€’ Apply MEDDPICC to ensure disciplined deal management and forecasting accuracy β€’ Maintain hubspot pipeline hygiene, forecast updates, and documentation β€’ Partner with SDRs to refine ICP targeting across compliance-heavy segments β€’ Collaborate with Marketing to shape vertical campaigns, compliance content, and case studies β€’ Ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success for implementation and compliance onboarding β€’ Navigate legal, procurement, and compliance review cycles β€’ Structure deals that support long-term partnership and audit readiness Skills β€’ 5+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, with a strong record of meeting or exceeding quota β€’ Success selling compliance, workflow, or operations-focused tools β€’ Experience closing SaaS deals across the full bolthiresβ€”from small businesses to large enterprise organizations β€’ Strong understanding of regulatory environments or risk-driven buying cycles β€’ Demonstrated success in new business acquisition with customers β€’ Expertise using structured methodologies such as MEDDPICC to drive forecast accuracy and close rates β€’ Proven ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders, including senior decision-makers β€’ Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills β€’ CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred) β€’ Self-starter with resilience, discipline, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environment β€’ Experience selling GRC, audit automation, commerce workflows, or supply-chain compliance software β€’ Familiarity with SOC, ISO, SOX, OSHA, PCI, or comparable frameworks β€’ Background working with compliance officers, operations leaders, and legal teams Company Overview β€’ Cordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of vertically focused business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies.
