This role involves coordinating daily activities, assessing staff productivity, and collaborating with various departments to optimize performance and ensure efficient service delivery initiatives. Responsibilities β’ Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Revenue Cycle Quality and Performance Management function.
Identifies, and reports statistics, trends, and analysis to management; analyses data, prepares and presents project reports for management, clients or others β’ Performs ad-hoc analyses on an as need basis; identifies, recommends, and implements approved process improvements β’ Defines and develops business plan and determines time-frame, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements and allotment of resources to various phases of the business; manages activities of business staff to ensure project progress is on schedule and within budget β’ Establishes work plan and staffing for each business phase and arranges for recruitment or assignment of business staff; reviews status reports and modifies schedules and/or plans as required β’ Confers with staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority; provides business staff with technical advice and problem resolution; implements solutions in response to issues, customer complaints, regulatory changes, and insurance related updates in order to promote timely and efficient revenue cycle operations β’ Ensures the integrity of various related information systems and facilitates synchronization with the other systems throughout the organization; works with Information Services, vendor and customers to develop business proposal outlining deliverables, requirements, risks, assumptions, key stakeholders, roles and responsibilities and budget β’ Manages business activities with organizations or agencies outside the organization; monitors vendor performance on deliverables and takes corrective action as necessary β’ Tracks actual performance against planned business performance, analyze variances and participates in problem solving to ensure all customer needs are met while maintaining control of the project β’ Performs related duties as required.

Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions Skills β’ Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience β’ 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required β’ Strong communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities β’ Proficient Excel skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel features, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas β’ Proficient in bolthires Office Suite: Expertise in PowerPoint, Word, and other relevant bolthires applications, with a focus on creating and delivering effective presentations β’ Highly detail-oriented: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and precision β’ Exceptional time management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects effectively β’ Experience in physician billing/healthcare operations: Demonstrated experience in medical billing processes, coding, or healthcare operations β’ Analytical skills with reporting experience: Proven ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and draw meaningful conclusions β’ Project management skills: Capability to initiate, plan, execute, and close projects successfully, including managing resources and timelines Company Overview β’ Northwell Health is New York Stateβs largest health care provider and private employer, with 28 hospitals, about 1,000+ outpatient facilities and more than 16,000 affiliated physicians.
