They are seeking an AI/ML Researcher to join their research team, focusing on original research in machine learning and its applications in scientific investing. Responsibilities • A strong publication record in leading ML/AI venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, JMLR, or AAAI, ideally with first-author contributions • Demonstrated expertise in Bayesian inference, generative modelling, probabilistic programming, or core machine learning techniques • Evidence of exceptional research ability, either through academic honours, competitive fellowships, or impactful contributions in high-performance research environments • If you're looking to do meaningful research where your work directly influences live decisions, and want to do so in an environment that values depth over bureaucracy, this is a rare chance to make an impact Skills • A strong publication record in leading ML/AI venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, JMLR, or AAAI, ideally with first-author contributions • A completed PhD in machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, physics, or a closely related quantitative field from a top-tier university (e.g., Ivy League, Oxbridge, or another program generally ranked in the global top 25) is required • This is a pure AI Research Scientist role with a heavy emphasis on original research; it is not suitable for Machine Learning Engineers or Data Scientists • Demonstrated expertise in Bayesian inference, generative modelling, probabilistic programming, or core machine learning techniques • Evidence of exceptional research ability, either through academic honours, competitive fellowships, or impactful contributions in high-performance research environments Company Overview • NJF is a tech-focused company whose by-product is recruitment.
