Job Description
EWINGS Network Contractors are typically responsible for provider targets to contact providers, build relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage various elements of the contracting process. These entry-level resources are responsible for securing individual professional LOIs, LOAs, or standard contracts with both PCPs and Specialist. They are responsible to maximize the number of contracted assigned providers.
- Managing Contracting Processes
- Using supplied data, call providers, establish a relationship, and initiate a contracting discussion. May use client provided marketing materials as appropriate.
- Send contracts to providers, negotiate rates within client provided negotiation range, manage other terms of the agreement.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with client contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Negotiate rates within the client's provided negotiation range.
- Submit completed contracts. Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included in the completed contract packets.
- Follow up with colleagues and clients when necessary to keep a contract moving forward.
Capture Activities
- In the prospect record, the Associate Network Contractor will:
- Enter detailed notes for every outreach that include the type of contact, a summary of the conversation/communications, and the date that the next outreach attempt is scheduled.
- Capture and update the contract status as they flow through the contracting process, per client tracking processes.
- Notate which contract template(s) have been sent to the provider.
- Update provider demographics as appropriate.
- Provider Relations
- Provide feedback from prospective and newly contracted providers to the client.
- Perform problem analysis, identify solutions, and engage client stakeholders when necessary.
- Inform provider of client's general credentialing process and requirements.
- Escalate redlines when necessary.
- Follow-up with client on redlines and other provider requests.
