Pure Storage is reshaping the data storage industry and is seeking an Associate Value Consultant to empower customers in visualizing the financial future of their data centers. This role involves translating complex technical shifts into economic narratives, collaborating with sales and finance leaders to demonstrate the ROI of the Everpure™ Platform.
- Responsibilities
- Architect Defensible Business Cases: Build and own comprehensive financial models that calculate TCO, ROI, and NPV, ensuring every customer investment is backed by transparent, audit-ready data
- Quantify Strategic Value: Partner with customer stakeholders in Finance and IT to identify and measure key value levers such as power/cooling reduction, increased developer productivity, and mitigated downtime risks
- Drive Consultative Discovery: Lead structured interviews and data collection workstreams to uncover "outside-in" insights that align Everpure’s solutions with specific executive business priorities
- Optimize Value Frameworks: Enhance our library of reusable benchmarks and modeling templates, directly improving the efficiency and accuracy of the global sales organization’s value-selling efforts
- Translate Technical Impact: Convert technical performance metrics into clear commercial language, delivering executive-level summaries that simplify complex purchasing decisions for C-suite stakeholders
- Skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling (Google Sheets/Excel) with the ability to manage complex datasets, validate assumptions, and structure clear, logical cash-flow and P&L formats
- A strong grasp of core economic concepts such as ROI, CAPEX/OPEX structures, and cloud economics, with the ability to connect infrastructure decisions to bottom-line business outcomes
- Skill in distilling technical and financial data into persuasive written and verbal narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from systems engineers to CFOs
- A track record of managing multiple project timelines simultaneously, demonstrating high attention to detail in governance and version control within a fast-paced environment
