Remote Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage to join our legal team. This role will focus on handling complex insurance coverage and defense matters for a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely, with the flexibility to manage their schedule and workload. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal issues, providing strategic advice and guidance to our clients in the insurance industry.
You will be responsible for: 1. Providing legal counsel and representation to clients in insurance coverage and defense cases. 2. Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis to develop strong defense strategies. 3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating insurance policies and contracts. 4. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. 5. Preparing and delivering legal opinions on various insurance coverage matters. 6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and mitigate legal risks.
7. Staying updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance. 8. Providing training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff. The ideal candidate should have: 1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. A current license to practice law in California. 3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance litigation and defense. 4. Strong legal writing and research skills. 5. Proven experience drafting and interpreting insurance policies and contracts. 6. Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal opinions on complex insurance matters.
7. Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills. 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 9. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision. 10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 11. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
