[Remote] Azure Assessment Consultant - Full Time - Remote in USA

They are seeking an Azure Assessment Consultant to engage with customers, guiding them in understanding and optimizing their IT infrastructure for cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

• Engage closely with Microsoft to support the customer cloud journey across segments and industries
• Support Microsoft Cloud adoption by bringing together a data driven understanding of customers’ current IT infrastructure
• Align to business priorities and objectives, and provide subject matter expertise in Microsoft technologies and services
• Guide and support use of server infrastructure and application analysis tooling
• Empower customers to better understand & manage their current infrastructures
• Unlock their ability to optimize the current estate and provide a common foundation of data to enable collaboration in strategic cloud adoption planning
• Demonstrate strong technical acumen, project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of a customer organization
• Guide customers in the implementation of solutions such as Dr Migrate

Skills

• 1-2 years as a professional in an IT service/support role, with a desire to leverage those skills in an analytic capacity
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud services and administration
• Networking and Administration for Windows / Windows Server OS and Linux; PowerShell; Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; Virtualization Technologies (ex., VMware & Hyper-V)
• Demonstrated ability to manage a queue of projects concurrently – project & time management, coordination, status updates, etc
• Prior experience with Azure Migrate, Doctor Migrate, or with other administrative and assessment tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Cloudamize, Movere, Block64, etc. will be a strong differentiator
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Other Non-Microsoft Technologies: Oracle database, RHEL (or other Linux) administration
• Comfort interpreting and presenting data insights to leadership teams
• Fluency in French or Spanish (but not required)
