Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Staples Canada is a leading business-to-business company seeking a B2B Sales Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for prospecting and onboarding new small to medium business customers, utilizing various engagement methods to drive sales and maintain customer relationships. Responsibilities β’ Exhibit effective appointment setting skills and set the required number of appointments each week with the correct decision makers β’ Effective Selling Skills β’ Utilizing professional selling skills β’ Discover prospects incremental and programmatic needs β’ Effectively communicates Staples value propositions, capabilities, products and assortments including all categories β’ Capable of overcoming objections and closing the sale β’ Utilize prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities and drive efficiency, as well as to document customer engagement and information (ex: Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC) β’ Internal Partnerships: Effectively work with customer support/set up teams and category specialists to progress deals forward to closed won β’ Implements and ramps wins driving compliance to new account/program β’ Expertise of prospect industry buying processβ and ability to support product selection and standardization β’ Create sticky accounts which will continue to purchase from Staples β’ Integrates feedback from prospects into their sales approach β’ New customer assortment and pricing β’ Internal Teaming: Individual will need to communicate and work closely with Category Specialists, and Support teams β’ Customer Communications: Individual is responsible to communicate with prospects daily in person and face to face in a professional manner Skills β’ 1-3 years of successful sales experience or success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate β’ 3+ years experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook β’ Strong drive and a desire to win β’ Strong aversion to complacency β’ Proven ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity and double down on next best actions β’ Experience and proven track record of business development β’ Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations virtually and in person β’ Consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills β’ Ability to work with product category sales team members β’ Strong business, financial, operations and technology acumen β’ Ability to analyze business and industry trends to create tailored solutions for prospects based upon Staples value proposition β’ Ability to function independently with minimal daily supervision β’ Ability and motivation to find, develop, and close sales β’ Demonstrated work ethic, self-disciplined β’ Ability to succeed in a competitive selling or goal-oriented environment β’ Ability to be coached and to incorporate feedback β’ Professional appearance and demeanor β’ Strong organization and time management skills β’ Bachelor's Degree β’ Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) β’ Industry knowledge, a plus Benefits β’ Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups β’ Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule β’ Online and Retail Discounts β’ Company Match 401(k) β’ Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs β’ And more!
