Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Remote Office is hiring on behalf of an Australian music business for a skilled Bookkeeper/Accountant. This role blends general accounting duties with a strong focus on managing accounts receivable, working closely with an international team to maintain accurate financial records and support the overall financial strategy. Responsibilities • Perform general bookkeeping, including data entry and bank reconciliation • Assist with financial reporting and basic analysis • Handle accounts payables and support tax compliance documentation (preferred) • Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing • Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable process (invoicing to reconciliation) • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain AR ledgers • Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices • Handle client queries regarding payments and terms • Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards • Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows Skills • Around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting • Strong background in accounts receivable processes (AU experience preferred) • Proficiency in Xero • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams • Strong English skills (verbal and written) • Handle accounts payables and support tax compliance documentation (preferred) • AU experience preferred Benefits • Stable role with a trusted, long-term Australian client • Supportive remote-first company culture • Competitive compensation package • Contribute to the financial strategy of client's growing music business • Experience working with international teams and cross-border operations Company Overview • Remote Office helps businesses scale by sourcing and managing top-tier offshore talent, seamlessly.
