Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Eximia Research is a growing, multi-site clinical research network seeking a Budget & Contracts Associate to support study start-up activities across their sites. This role involves supporting clinical trial budget development, contract coordination, and study financial set-up in collaboration with Clinical Operations, Finance, and Business Development teams.
- Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage clinical trial budgets, including site cost templates and pass-through expenses
- Support negotiation of budgets, payment schedules, and invoiceable milestones with Sponsors and CROs
- Assist with review and tracking of Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), amendments, and budget exhibits
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align budgets with staffing and operational requirements
- Track contract and budget status to support site activation timelines
- Maintain accurate records in CTMS and internal tracking tools
- Support invoice set-up and payment tracking in collaboration with Finance
- Identify discrepancies between executed budgets and contract language and escalate as needed
- Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in clinical research, site start-up, budgeting, or contracts (site-side experience preferred)
- Familiarity with clinical trial budgets, CTAs, and payment milestones
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Excel and CTMS systems
