Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CompassX Group is a boutique business and technology consulting firm that helps clients deliver strategic initiatives. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support dashboard delivery, focusing on dashboard development, data validation, and collaboration with stakeholders. Responsibilities • Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI • Support and modify existing dashboards, including working with underlying SQL and calculations • Translate business requirements and wireframes into effective visualizations • Develop and optimize DAX measures (Power BI) • Use SQL for data validation, profiling, and troubleshooting • Own work from requirements through development and quality checks • Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to iterate on reporting solutions Skills • Degree-qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI, and ideally able to build in both environments • Strong SQL skills • Experience supporting existing BI environments, not just greenfield builds • Ability to organize and clarify business requirements • Comfortable working independently in a project-based consulting role • Clear communication and stakeholder-facing skills • Strong in both Tableau and Power BI and able to create dashboards proficiently in both tools • Strong in building Power BI dashboards and some exposure to Tableau Company Overview • Business Management, IT Consulting It was founded in 2009, and is headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
