Remote CA | Insurance & Financial Services Litigation Associate (3–7 Years) Remote • Hybrid • In-Office (Your Choice) $140,000 – $220,000 + Bonus A very reputable California law firm with a long-standing litigation practice is actively and urgently hiring a Litigation Associate with 3–7 years of experience to join its Insurance & Financial Services Litigation team. This role offers maximum flexibility — work fully remote, hybrid, or fully in-office, based entirely on your preference. The firm is seeking a strong litigation associate who wants sophisticated matters, meaningful responsibility, and long-term growth within a collaborative, attorney-friendly environment. Practice Focus You will work on complex litigation matters involving: • ERISA and employee benefit disputes • Disability, life, health, and long-term care claims • Insurance coverage and bad faith litigation • Financial services and fraud-related matters What You’ll Do • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses • Analyze factual records and legal issues to assess claims and defenses • Take and defend depositions • Work directly with in-house counsel, experts, third-party administrators, and opposing counsel • Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, including: • Motions in limine • Jury instructions and trial briefs • Exhibits and witness preparation ✅ What We’re Looking For • 3–7 years of litigation experience (insurance, ERISA, or financial services experience preferred) • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills • Strong work ethic with a self-starter mindset • Collaborative, team-oriented approach • Active admission to the California State Bar (required) ⭐ Why This Opportunity • Compensation: $140,000 – $220,000 + bonus, depending on experience • Choose your work style — remote, hybrid, or in-office • Sophisticated litigation with real responsibility • Supportive, collegial culture with experienced trial attorneys • Clear long-term growth and advancement potential • Immediate hiring need — qualified candidates encouraged to apply promptly How to Apply Please submit your resume (and a writing sample, if available).
