Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jacoby & Meyers Accident & Injury Lawyers is seeking a passionate and determined Case Management Attorney to join their growing team. The role involves reviewing and evaluating liability, conducting investigations, and building client relationships during pre-litigation. The attorney will also draft legal documents and communicate with adjusters while supporting case management leadership.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate liability, insurance availability, and treatment plan
- Build client relationships and communicate with clients and family members during pre-litigation
- Conduct investigations – collect and analyze evidence in order to determine all potential claims and liability, potential defendants, and insurance coverages
- Conduct legal research
- Investigate facts of loss, and research application of case law
- Analyze, manage, and review evidence to assess liability and determine case plan
- Draft government claim forms and demand letters
- Communicate with adjusters; draft correspondence as needed
- Serve as a backup resource for case management leadership, providing support as needed and assisting with client intake calls
Skills
- Licensed attorney in Washington
- Working at a PI firm for 1 year
- Work well with others and have strong communication skills
- Work well under pressure
- Organized
- Good at multitasking
- Eager to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
