Job Description
Certified Residential Appraiser – Valuation & Research Specialist Remote | Professional Independent Contractor | MO & KS Markets
The Next Step for the Analytical Appraiser
Are you an experienced appraiser who excels at the "puzzle" of valuation but is ready to trade the extreme temperatures, the 200-mile drive days, and the logistical grind for a focused, analytical desk role? MacDonnell Appraisals is an ethically-led, tech-forward firm committed to modernizing the valuation process without sacrificing professional integrity. We are seeking a highly capable Certified Residential Appraiser to join our team as a Valuation & Research Specialist. In this role, you leave the tape measure behind and focus entirely on the high-level analysis and data synthesis that defines our profession.
The MacDonnell Appraisals Way: A Collaborative Partnership
MacDonnell Appraisals believes valuation work should be both high-quality and sustainable. We use technology to support appraisers, not replace them, and we build workflows that reduce friction while protecting the integrity of the appraisal process. Our goal is to create an environment where experienced professionals can focus on strong analytical work without the drain of field logistics, clerical bottlenecks, and disconnected review layers. This role is designed for appraisers who take pride in their judgment, enjoy solving valuation problems, and want to focus on the part of the job they do best. You will work directly with a Lead Appraiser who values clear communication, strong ethics, and consistent quality. It is a remote role with real flexibility, built for someone who values accuracy, accountability, and thoughtful analysis.
