Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies, is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Virtual Intern for its IT Global Client Services department. This internship offers hands-on experience with cloud technologies, focusing on Azure and M365 workloads, while contributing to projects that enhance cloud solutions for clients.
- Responsibilities
- Get hands-on with current and emerging technologies in a forward-looking, cloud-first company
- Use that tech to create business solutions and contribute to achieving project goals
- Experience how emerging tech affects IT strategies and processes as we adopt new technologies
- Participate in IT and cross-departmental projects — you’ll be directly involved in business outcomes
- Learn technical and soft skills that will help make your resume stand out
- Learn how companies leverage Azure’s IaaS, SaaS and PaaS infrastructure to provide environments to business solution groups. These environments are leveraged for skill building, client demos, and testing prior to winning new business
- Understand the compliance complexities associated with cloud access and storage specifically related to data governance, privacy, and audit controls
- Work side-by-side with seasoned architects and engineers that can provide insight into the day-to-day activities of supporting 20,000+ users
- Identify areas for improvement in cloud cost management, DevOps integration, simplifying intake requests and environment automation
- Accelerate innovation and reduce costs as you analyze data, automate processes, and build apps with Microsoft’s Power Platform
- Leverage and build agentic generative AI tools to request, automate, and manage cloud workloads in Azure
- Skills
- Be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program related to computer science, IT, information science, management information systems, data science, or mathematics with a graduation year of 2027
- An understanding of cloud computing and how the cloud works, as well as a solid understanding of how programming languages work
- Familiarity IAC (Infrastructure as Code) or PowerShell
- An adaptive mindset that allows you to quickly learn new technologies and adopt/develop new workflows
- Strong critical thinking and analysis skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work full 40-hour weeks virtually from June 17 – August 7, 2026 (internship dates cannot be altered)
