Responsibilities

Monitor and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, performance and security of cloud-based services and applications
Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve cloud-related incidents, working closely with senior engineers to address issues efficiently
Automation & Scripting: Assist in automating repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash
System & Network Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK APM to track system health and performance
Security & Compliance: Follow best practices to ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards
Deployment & Configuration Management: Support deployments using CI/CD like Ansible
Collaboration & Documentation: Work with engineering teams to optimize cloud resources and maintain detailed documentation for operational processes

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
1+ years of experience in cloud operations
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments
Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls)
Experience with scripting (Python or Bash) is a plus
Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stack
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
