About the position The Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative/Account Manager is responsible for assisting producers with the handling and processing of new and renewal business, while also providing in-house customer service to clients. This role involves coordinating expirations, marketing business, ensuring policy accuracy, and maintaining organized records. Responsibilities β’ Coordinate expirations with producer and/or account executive to obtain renewal and/or new business information. β’ Maintain expiration control log. β’ Market new and renewal business, determine premiums, prepare presentation packets and maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier. β’ Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages, signatures, and input these transactions to generate billing invoices. β’ Ensure that these items are delivered and/or mailed to client. β’ Receive phone calls and/or emails from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, or administrative problems, and comply with the requests and/or refer to the producer only when necessary. β’ Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports, and follow up on overdue and suspense items. β’ Be familiar with and follow agency EO guidelines. β’ Maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner. β’ Perform special projects at management's request.
