Hilton is seeking a Contract Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts for Sales, Catering, and Events across their portfolio of full-service hotels in North America. The role involves high-volume end-to-end recruitment, ensuring compliance with guidelines while building a pipeline of top talent. Responsibilities β’ Be aligned with the Americas Recruitment/HR Operations function while supporting outstanding recruitment results β’ Deliver a supportive and consultative approach while managing a high volume of exempt requisitions to hire the worldβs best hospitality team members β’ Ensure an outstanding workplace that delivers on our values, mission, and purpose β’ Embrace and lead the implementation of all Americas Recruitment Operations initiatives and objectives with a consistent commitment to excellence in execution, and comprehensiveness β’ Ensure recruitment process, metrics, and compliance are achieved to Hiltonβs set standards β’ Work independently as well as be an active and encouraging team member of the overall Recruitment Operations Center β’ Provide and communicate regular recruitment updates to Recruitment Leaders, hiring managers, and the property-level leadership team β’ Utilize an applicant tracking system such as Taleo to review, analyze and evaluate the information provided by applicants in response to job postings β’ Conduct screening interviews and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers β’ Ensure that minimum qualification standards are established before posting positions and post positions internally, externally, and with commercial job sites β’ Coordinate all pre-approved selection tests and pre-employment processes, including, but not limited to, background checks, drug testing, and employment authorization verification β’ Once a candidate is selected, extend job offers and close out positions in the system upon completing all required notes and final dispositions β’ Build and maintain a continually stocked pipeline of quality talent through various methods β’ Train, develop, and foster professional relationships with hiring managers at Hotels and Business Leaders within the organization to ensure recruitment needs are adequately and accurately assessed and met in a timely and efficient manner and timeliness Skills β’ Demonstrated experience with interviewing β’ Strong stakeholder management skills β’ Excellent organization skills β’ 2-3 years' experience at a management level in Sales & Marketing, Events or Catering within a large-sized hotel β’ Ability to manage high-volume end-to-end recruitment of all non-exempt and exempt roles β’ Ensure positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner in compliance with all federal, state, and company guidelines β’ Utilize an applicant tracking system such as Taleo to review, analyze and evaluate information provided by applicants β’ Conduct screening interviews and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers β’ Establish minimum qualification standards before posting positions β’ Coordinate all pre-approved selection tests and pre-employment processes β’ Build and maintain a continually stocked pipeline of quality talent β’ Train, develop, and foster professional relationships with hiring managers β’ Preferred locations to include California, Arizona, Oregon, Utah and Texas Company Overview β’ Hilton is a hospitality company, owns luxury and full-service hotels and resorts, and focused-service hotels.
