We are seeking a dedicated Contingent Site Selection Leasing Diligence Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. In this position, you will lead the due diligence process for new lease opportunities and negotiations, ensuring all potential sites meet our standards and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful site selection and leasing outcomes within defined project timelines.
- Responsibilities
- Lead site due diligence processes, ensuring all necessary non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are in place prior to any material information exchanges.
- Collect and distribute requisite information from providers to internal reviewers.
- Gather and maintain feedback from internal reviewers throughout the diligence and contracting processes.
- Lead the handoff process to execution teams and identify risks associated with each lease opportunity, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Support lease negotiation by tracking lease components, facilitating negotiation sessions, and working closely with the Negotiator Lead and Legal team to finalize leases.
- Submit Third Party Assessments to enable lease execution and route lease contracts for review and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation for all diligence activities, presenting findings and recommendations to project leads.
- Update programmatic dashboards with requisite information.
- Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in site selection, construction management, or property diligence.
- Strong understanding of real estate due diligence and lease negotiation.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with commercial real estate transactions.
- Familiarity with data center construction.
- Proficiency in real estate management software.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
This role offers flexibility with remote work from any U.S. time zone. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, involving interaction with various stakeholders. You will utilize real estate management software and other digital tools to perform your duties effectively. The position requires adherence to company policies and the ability to manage stress while working respectfully with others.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Menlo Park, CA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
