Why This Role Matters As a Remote Data Entry & Business Intelligence Analyst at arenaxflex, you will be the bridge between raw data sources and the strategic dashboards that guide our clients’ most important business decisions. This is more than a data‑entry position – you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, enforce data quality standards, and craft compelling visual stories using Power BI and Excel. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of cross‑functional teams, the accuracy of predictive models, and the overall competitiveness of our clients in a fast‑moving market. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Own Every Day Data Pipeline Development & Maintenance: Design, implement, and monitor scalable data pipelines that ingest information from diverse source systems into the central Data Warehouse. Dashboard Creation & Enhancement: Build interactive, high‑impact Power BI dashboards and Excel reports that translate complex datasets into clear business narratives for stakeholders at every level. Data Quality Governance: Define and enforce rigorous data quality standards, maintain data dictionaries, and ensure compliance with arenaxflex’s data governance framework. Collaboration with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and IT teams to capture requirements, validate metrics, and secure sign‑offs for both operational and strategic reporting needs. Automation & Efficiency Optimization: Identify manual, repetitive processes and develop automated solutions using Power BI Dataflows, SSIS, or custom scripts to reduce turnaround time and minimize errors. Data Modeling & Architecture: Apply star‑schema and other dimensional modeling techniques to create performant, query‑friendly data structures that support ad‑hoc analysis and self‑service BI. Advanced SQL & DAX Development: Write complex SQL queries, develop sophisticated DAX measures, and create M‑code transformations that enable deep analytical insights. Issue Resolution & Data Reconciliation: Investigate data inconsistencies across multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and perform root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, data lineage diagrams, and best‑practice guides to foster a culture of continuous learning within the data team. Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to existing BI processes, tooling, and governance policies, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring Minimum 2 years of professional experience in end‑to‑end data analysis, pipeline construction, or business intelligence reporting. Hands‑on expertise with Power BI , including report design, data modeling, DAX, and Power BI Service deployment. Advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, performance tuning, and stored procedure development). Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or comparable Big Data integration platforms. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts , particularly star schema and snowflake schema design. Demonstrated ability to create clear, actionable visualizations that convey insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Strong problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven mindset for identifying patterns, anomalies, and opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for documenting processes and presenting findings.
