In this remote, full‑time position, you’ll work Monday‑Friday within the 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM MST window, supporting a diverse roster of states including AL, AZ, CO, FL, ID, LA, MO, NE, NC, OK, TX, UT, VA, and WI. Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $15.75 – $19.00 reflects your expertise and dedication. Core Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day Enter, update, and verify patient referral data across multiple proprietary and third‑party platforms, ensuring every detail is accurate and compliant with industry standards. Conduct rigorous quality checks on entered information to catch discrepancies before they affect downstream processes. Process incoming faxes quickly and efficiently, converting paper‑based referrals into digital records. Validate medical scripts and referral documentation to confirm that procedure codes, patient identifiers, and clinical notes align with policy. Communicate proactively with internal teams —including scheduling coordinators, billing specialists, and clinical staff—to request missing information or clarify ambiguous entries. Collaborate with the Centralized Services Supervisor to prioritize workload, troubleshoot system issues, and suggest process improvements. Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives by providing feedback on workflow bottlenecks and suggesting automation opportunities. Adhere to data security and privacy protocols outlined in HIPAA, OSHA, and Taskora’s internal compliance standards. Support additional ad‑hoc projects as assigned, ranging from data audits to special reporting tasks. Essential Qualifications – What We’re Looking For Minimum one year of experience in customer service or data entry, preferably within a healthcare setting. Proven ability to type 9,000+ keystrokes per hour with a high degree of accuracy (minimum 98%). High school diploma or GED required; ongoing education or certifications in health information management is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail, self‑motivation, and an innate problem‑solving mindset. Demonstrated capacity to navigate multiple computer screens, browsers, and software applications simultaneously without sacrificing precision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with internal stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, virtual team environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality. Preferred Qualifications – What Sets You Apart Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms. Familiarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD‑10) or prior exposure to radiology workflow. Certificates such as Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA). Previous remote work experience, demonstrating strong discipline and time‑management habits.
